  9. There are three(3) files in this archive:
  10.  
  11.                PATCH.EXE       Patch engine
  12.                LUI103H.RTP      File containing the Patches
  13.                README.1ST      This file
  14.  
  15. Place all three files in your current UNINSTALL-IT! directory (C:\LUI).
  16.  
  17. Make sure that you are not currently running Windows.
  18. Change to the directory where your UNINSTALL-IT! files and the 
  19. above patch files have been placed, and at the DOS prompt,
  20. type the following:
  21.  
  22.                 PATCH LUI103H  <ENTER>
  23.  
  24. This will create a subdirectory called BACKUP and, as it is updating your 
  25. files, will copy all affected files to it, and add a file called UNPATCH.BAK.
  26.  
  27. The UNPATCH.BAK file is ONLY to be used in the event that an error occurs.
  28. The patch engine, by default, will restore your files to normal in the event
  29. of an error, so you should never have to use the UNPATCH.BAK file. However,
  30. if you must return to the previous version, simply rename UNPATCH.BAK to
  31. UNPATCH.BAT and execute this batch file.

  34. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PATCH WILL PATCH VERSION 1.0 TO 1.03 OR VERSION
  35.        1.01 TO VERSION 1.03 ON ITS OWN.

  39. Corrections to this version:
  40.         
  41. -"Out of String Space" error has been corrected. The largest INI file that
  42.   UNINSTALL-IT! will handle now is 60K. Visual Basic allows for 64K to be 
  43.   used, but UNINSTALL-IT! requires about 4K for overhead. If either your
  44.   SYSTEM.INI or WIN.INI files is over 60K in size, then you will encounter
  45.   this error message.

  47. -Corrected sporadic file delete/uninstall failure which
  48.  occured on systems where multiple applications were
  49.  performing concurrent file operations.
  50.  
  51.     Updated DLLSVBXS.STD file to include all support
  52.     components for the LUI system.
  53.  
  54. -Corrected additional restriction on WIN.INI file size.
